Quick! Gloss Me Up!

Hi

Today I have a new product to show you, one I am very excited about.

A few weeks ago, I went on a search to find myself a new Top Coat, as I only had my Bio Sculpture High Shine and Seche Vite. Even though I know Seche Vite is a favourite of many, I hated it, for the shrinkage, the gloopiness, and most of all, the stench that made me almost need a gas mask when I used it. My Bio Sculpture top coats are fantastically glossy, don’t smell too nasty, but are a little slow drying, due to being 3 free.

On suggestion I thought I would try Peita’s Polish Glitter Glaze, so I ordered myself a bottle. When my package arrived I noticed a surprise. Inside were two bottles, one the original Glitter Glaze, the other, a new, improved formula that Peita was testing, on the bottle it was called Glitter Glaze Version 2.

I did some hard core testing of the product, which is now officially called, “Quick! Gloss Me Up!”, and compared it to her original Glitter Glaze.

Facts about my unbiased testing;

1- I am ambidextrous, and I do not favour a particular hand at all.

2-Testing included application over Bio Sculpture Nail Polish (2 coats), a chunky glitter bomb (Femme Fatale Cosmetics, Darkmoon Fortune), and black pearl studs.

3- Both hands received one coat of topcoat, wrapped over tips.

4- Bio Sculpture Nail Polish is highly durable, 3 free nail polish that generally lasts 7 days with only minor tipwear, in normal circumstances.

Below are my pictures of my testing.

Initial comparison;

Left Hand- Original Glitter Glaze, A 3 Free Top Coat (no Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), no Formaldehyde, and no Toluene)

Dry to the touch in 10-15 minutes, solid in 40 minutes.

Not a super shiny top coat, shine similar to that of a clear nail polish.

Top coat did not affect nail polish underneath.

No shrinkage at all.

Nice, thin, lightweight topcoat, spread evenly and easily.

Smells ok, not ‘gas mask’ inducing, can still smell the chemicals though.

Right Hand- Quick! Gloss Me Up!, A 3 free Top Coat (no Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), no Formaldehyde, and no Toluene)

Dry to touch in 3 minutes, solid in 20 minutes.

A lot more shine, very glossy, almost a gel finish.

No shrinkage at all.

Formula a fraction thicker that Glitter Glaze, but definitely not gloopy or sticky, spread evenly and easily on the nail.

Smells amazing, nicest smelling topcoat I have ever sniffed. The smell is hard to pin, but I would describe it as a sweet, fruity, bubblegum type aroma.

 Below are my test nails after five days wear.

There was only minimum wear on the nails, and top coats both retained their gloss.

MY OVERALL OPINION

Quick! Gloss Me Up! is now THE ONLY top coat I will be buying! I ONLY use nail polish’s that are a minimum of 3 free. And due to my business being Bio Sculpture, 3 free products are the only products I can safely use and recommend for use over the top of Bio Sculpture Gel, that will not soften or harm the gel. This has the fastest dry time of any 3 free top coat I have tried. The shine is incredible. The baffling thing is the smell of the topcoat, Peita must be a wizard, as I really don’t know how she got this to smell so delightful.

I used this topcoat for several mani’s recently;

Love Thy Polish, Pink in October, Delush Polish, and Sweet Treats.

I cannot press enough, the need you all have to buy this topcoat. And at half the price of many other topcoats, you have nothing to lose and EVERYTHING to gain.

This is being released TODAY on Peita’s Polish Etsy Store. She will ship internationally too.

Keep up to date with all Peita’s Polish announcement’s by visiting her Facebook Page.

HERE ARE MY FINAL SHOTS FOR YOU. SIT BACK AND ENJOY THE GLOSS!
