I’ve had swatches of this one on backlog for a while, and finally, I’m having the chance to share it with you. Made by Australian indie brand, Glittering Elements, this is Necromancy.
Necromancy is a stunning shifting polish, with an awesome splash of holo that totally transforms the polish in the sunlight. It truly is a sight to see, and because of it’s ever changing nature, no two swatches I’ve seen are exactly alike. Everyone seems to pick up on different aspects of the polish.
Below are macros of the polish both in the shade, and in the sun.
FORMULA AND APPLICATION
This polish applied very nicely to the nail. The Glittering Elements brush is soft and wide, making it very quick and easy to get a nice, clean line when applying the polish. As with many of the Glittering Elements I have tried, the colour is nicely saturated meaning you will get great, rich coats every time. Ensure to dry well between layers or you may get balding towards the base. These swatches all show two coats with no top coat.
AN ATTEMPT TO DESCRIBE THE COLOUR
This polish is so hard to describe, it is very mysterious. The base colour in the polish is a very dark grey, whilst the shift ranges from purple through to pink, and on the extreme curve changes to a pale gold. The holo is quite linear, but so packed it came through in my photos as super scattered, whilst you can still see the purple shift shining through in the top note in sunlight.
This polish is available through Glittering Elements Store for $12.50 AUD, shipping is available worldwide, just email Glittering Elements for prices. Glittering Elements is also stocked at Norway Nails for those of you located over that way.
If you love shifting polishes, and their ever-changing nature like me, grab this one before it runs out. A perfect shade for our Australian Autumn, and now with some parts of the world are coming into spring, a little splash of holo is always a treat 🙂
