Today I am very excited to show you a very special polish from Celestial Cosmetics. This is named Obsidian and is a polish created by both myself and Nicki of Celestial Cosmetics. When Nicki came to me months ago with the idea of creating a collaboration polish I literally squealed! To have someone offer to make you a polish that is entirely your idea is probably the dream of many bloggers, but arrrghhh! The hardest thing is trying to think of what you want to see created.

My instructions to Nicki very vague at best. I told her I wanted a polish that looked like cast iron/black leather/an oil slick, all rolled into one! Pretty easy right? hahaha.

Well Nicki came up with the goods, and this is our baby, rolled out and ready for purchase! Lots of pictures to follow!

Obsidian is a gun metal grey crème with the stunning addition of silver glassfleck which absolutely shines like the dickens on the high point of your nails. It takes the polish to new heights, and was just the perfect lift this polish needed. It also has a beautiful smattering of holo, which gives it a unique twist and a little something else. Super opaque, this was almost a one coater, however I always apply two coats out of habit!

All my photos are taken in direct sunlight, so the polish is showing a bit lighter than it really is due to the reflection of the glass fleck. It is definitely a very, very dark grey colour.

I absolutely love this polish and am so pleased with the results. Nicki has outdone herself with this one, and I really cant wait to see it out there in the world!
